All Night Strut Rehearsals

Hi! Long time no see! Sorry.... Been really busy. I know that's not really an excuse to keep in touch with friends and family, but really, I have been busy.
It's crunch time before the All Night Strut show next weekend! My first really huge show! We've been rehearsing this musical revue for about a month now, and we're performning it next weekend at the theatre in town! I am very excited, and a little nervous that I won't manage to learn all the steps by Thursday. It's the first time I've ever had to dance to anything, so I'm trying my best. At least my stage presence works for me:) I am apparently worth paying money to go see according to my dance teacher:) so that's fun!
I know you all appreciate pictures, so here are some I found on friends' websites. This one is of my stage manager and my lovely teacher and director, Dr. Mac.

The second one is of us waiting for our time to go on stage. And by the piano you see the lovely Ms. Gay, who reminds me of mamma:) She plays wonderfully!
We're by the stage that is about to be torn and leave us theatre people homeless.... They're gonna start building a theatre later, but when, we don't know;.. Till then they're setting up little concretables so we can practice and have classes. We'll see when that happens.. All the plans for development here in this town keep getting postponed.. But at least we have our spirits together; we really have great people in the department!

I am very excited about Strut, but it's really taking all of my time! For the past three weeks I've been in rehearsal 6 days a week, at least 3 (usually 5) hours a day. And this is in addition to school work... So I'm busy. I also do my workstudy job, and I'm about to start up "Acting on AIDS", which is a club where we pray for AIDS victims and orphans and families, as well as we'll be doing projects to help out AIDS victims in the neighbourhood. So I'm excited about that.
And so after Strut is over Inki will come, and I won't have to be in school 12 or 13 hours a day...
But the best part of it all is that even though I'm so busy, I'm loving every minute.
So please pray for me next weekend, and pray that Christen has the strength to handle my wining over sore muscles! :)
God bless you all!

Hehe..
